Peanut butter is MUCH more of a fat source than it is a protein source!!!!🤯
Here’s proof…
Standard peanut butter nutrition facts per 2 Tbsp serving:

So that means 70% of that peanut butter is fat, 16% is carbohydrate and 14% is protein. When put this way, it’s not a high protein source at all… it’s mostly fat!!😱
And if we want to get even more technical, peanut butter is not a complete protein — meaning it does not contain all of the essential amino acids the body needs.😮
So if your goal is to eat more protein, peanut butter isn’t your answer🙅🏻♀️ ….unless you pair it with high protein source …like spreading it on my protein Funsized French toast!🍞
